Shuibo Wang- Writer - DirectorShuibo Wang was born is Shandong Province, China. After serving as an army artist until 1980, he studied at the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing where he received top student honors and a BFA in 1985. Wang immigrated to Canada in 1989 where he enrolled in a masters program at Montreal’s Concordia University. Between 1994 and 1998, he wrote and directed an autobiographical animated documentary entitled Sunrise Over Tiananmen Square through The National Film Board of Canada, garnering a nomination for an Academy Award in 1999. , his feature film debut project, marks his first collaboration with Atopia. |
